This is a transition painting; travelling and moving mentally from Norway to Belgium; A Triptyck - (certainbly Belgian influence - the Old Flemish Primitive Masters) combined with the Norwegian colours and mood -
And one thing I recognize - the patterns in these oldfashioned curtains.....stitches....Norwegian 'rose-painting' and embroidary ...finding it again in Belgian traditions -
But of course the mountain is Norwegian:))
