This painting was in a large part inspired by a musical composition called Forest Council, by composer Nicky Bendix. (www.nickybendix.com) - one of 12 compositions in his recent collection 'The Enchanted Forest.
The original motif was a very special lane/avenue of trees in Belgium

Tone Aanderaa was born in Bergen, Norway. She received her BFA and MFA (1989) from Pratt Institute, New York, USA.
